A strand that holds the light. Lumina is made from premium rice-shaped freshwater pearls, about 7 mm each, chosen above all for their high luster. Each pearl has a deep, mirror-like surface that reflects light sharply and shows soft rosé and silvery overtones as it moves. Strung edge to edge, they create a full, generous line that frames the neck and brightens the face, as a pearl necklace should.
The pearls were grown on a river farm in the Yangtze River Delta in eastern China. They developed slowly inside freshwater mussels in clean, flowing water, looked after by hand from season to season. From the 2025 harvest, only pearls with the strongest luster and closest-matching shape were selected for this strand, so it glows evenly from clasp to clasp.
The clasp and extender are rhodium-plated sterling silver, bright, tarnish-resistant and secure. A spring ring clasp and a textured extender chain let you adjust the fit, and a single pearl drop finishes the back. Wear Lumina with a white knit or a little black dress, or give it as the pearl necklace that lasts a lifetime.
